Jon Williams is a Senior Sales Engineer and has been with MarkLogic for just over 2 years. His focus has been on the UK Media and Entertainment industry, assisting customers and prospects in understanding how MarkLogic can transform their business and keep pace with innovation and change. Prior to joining MarkLogic, Jon worked in the application performance management and intelligent transport system industries.

Jon holds an Honours Degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham and is a professional member of the British Computer Society.

Jen Shorten

Jennifer Shorten is Technical Delivery Architect for Consulting Services, EMEA. She joined the company in 2014 after six years working on MarkLogic implementations with some of the world’s leading media and publishing companies. In her seventeen years in the industry, Jen has helped customers meet their strategic goals by overcoming data and content challenges. Jen has a particular interest in semantics and has had the opportunity to lead the UK consulting team on some of the most advanced semantics implementations for MarkLogic customers globally.

Originally from New York City, Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biopsychology from Hampshire College and an MSc in Technology Management from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.

Dan Roberts
Dan Roberts
Principal Sales Engineer,
MarkLogic UK Ltd

Daniel works as a Principal Sales Engineer at MarkLogic. He spends most of his time working with Financial Services clients helping them to realise the benefits of utilising a schema agnostic NoSQL approach. He has worked in the NoSQL database space for the last 5 years, but prior to that he worked at at the large database and applications vendor Oracle Corporation for 11 years.
